Just a solid selection for an overnight stop in Beccles with good price-value balance. Despite the creaky floors, the room was cozy and comfortable. It's best to ask for a room on a lower level if you're a light sleeper.

I had a lovely stay at Waveney House. The location right on the river made for beautiful views, especially while dining. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. The room, a Deluxe Double Room, felt spacious and was kept impeccably clean. Breakfast offered a good selection, which I enjoyed. I noticed some noise from adjacent rooms, making it tough to get a solid night's sleep. The decor in the room felt a bit tired and could use some refreshing. Despite these issues, the atmosphere of the dining area and the view made it a relaxing getaway.

We enjoyed two nights in a lovely room with picturesque river views. The terrace was perfect for evening drinks, but the service could improve. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were welcoming. Guests with mobility issues should note the absence of an elevator.

The riverside views were stunning, and the bar had a great selection of beers. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Improve noise insulation for a quieter stay.

We loved our stay at Waveney House Hotel! The spacious Deluxe Twin Room was perfect for our family, with comfy beds and a lovely view of the river. The option to add extra beds for the kids was a huge plus. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

The parking can get busy.

I just had a delightful stay! The food was superb, especially the summer pudding, and the views from my room were breathtaking. Breakfast in the conservatory was such a treat! I'd definitely return.
